Whitney writes ownvoices YA about biracial girls. She was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, and lives there still with her husband, daughter, and dog, Coco. Most of her books are about serious issues with a touch of humor. During her time not writing, she is a sixth grade literacy teacher in a wonderfully diverse school.
